The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978 is one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves stretching to a total of 777sq km of which 360 km is thick ever green forest.. Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady. Stay overnight.

After breakfast proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Jeep safari is a fun optional activity to enjoy if you have an adventurous bone. Visit the Spice Plantation in Thekkady, stroll around the captivating farm and discover various spices in different sections of the plantation. Most sought Elephant Ride around the wilderness. Thekkady-Alleppey
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. While cruising, let your eyes settle for the bowed-down paddy fields, local inhabitants, rustic homes, ancient churches / temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served onboard.
